In our 2nd newsletter, we go over our weekly recap, some giveaways, and our brand-new refreshed logo.
OUR REFRESHED LOGO
After careful consideration, we’ve decided to fix up our logo. Now that most of our build-up has finished, we can re-focus on the stuff we’ve already released. The logo was always subject to be updated at any time, and it… well, was.
Our new logo is simpler, brighter, and focuses on our initials instead of a video game controller; this is a better idea for the short-term as we focus on building a name instead of our purpose. We want people to think “Jay-Cast” instead of “gaming controller”, at least for the time being.
We also added a drop shadow to give a more “natural” effect, a means of popping out to grab your attention towards our initials. It has overall gotten praise in our staff team, and we’d like to know how you guys feel about it. We’re always open to suggestions.
We’ve already got it switched out everywhere. We can’t wait to show off what we’ve got in plan for it. Now that we know that this is most likely the logo we’ll be working with, we can really go all out in supporting it with our future endeavors. If this doesn’t make sense, it will soon.
Next up on our list is our headline: “Gamers Worldwide”. Will that see a change? Well, I suggest to wait and see if anyone has a better one, including our very own staff members. 😉
