Jstar’s Chronicles #37 – I Like Gigabit

This issue might be shorter than usual, but much faster in being uploaded. Huh? I’ll explain.

I won’t say with who, but it all happened when a random phone call occurred on my way home saying that my household would soon be eligible for Gigabit internet. A few months later, I check up to see that it was finally available, and I hopped on that opportunity right away!

Gigabit internet speeds are pretty close to legit, at least in terms of download (940-ish Mbps Max). Upload isn’t as lucky as it hits 35-42 Mbps, but that’s still a real improvement over what I had before (45 Down and 6 Up), so my YouTube videos will download a heck-ton faster!

If you’ve got the chance to get Gigabit, I’d heavily recommend to check it out. I won’t advertise who I have because this part of the post isn’t somewhere to advertise. Seriously though, expect better quality streams and videos from me real soon. 😀

If you guys are interested in me talking more about what I’ve done with it, don’t hesitate to ask.

I’ll explain. I got my Gigabit Internet installed right around the time that I was supposed to release this, so I apologize that I couldn’t release any posts/giveaways/streams last week. I just wasn’t able to download/upload anything at the time, and my phone’s internet was too spotty to be reliable enough for anything beyond writing a few notes.

Now that I’m back in business, however, I can safely say that I shouldn’t have any more problems from now on. Gigabit with no data cap.. oh boy. This will be pretty fun.

Please let me know if there’s any games or things you want reviewed by me, as I’m starting to run out of content haha. Until then, thanks for reading and I’ll catch you back at the next issue!
